The MEPZ SEZ takes a bold leap forward during June 2025 with 8 new projects creating nearly 3 thousand employment opportunities including 30 transgenders. At the recent Unit Approval Committee (UAC) meeting chaired by Thiru. Alex Paul Menon, Zonal Development Commissioner, 8 new projects were approved across manufacturing, IT/ITES, logistics, and warehousing—ushering in ₹40.55 crore in investments and 2,951 new jobs across Tamil Nadu. Highlights:

• Inventurus Knowledge Solutions Ltd. to invest ₹11.87 Cr, creating 1,647 jobs at KGISL SEZ, Coimbatore.
• Infosys Ltd. expands at Sholinganallur SEZ with ₹5 Cr and 1,000 new jobs.
• Quinte Financial Technologies brings ₹1.1 Cr and 130 jobs to ELCOT SEZ, Trichy.
• Invigo Tea Pvt. Ltd. infuses ₹5 Cr and 70 jobs at Tuticorin SEZ.
