HAPPY MEPZonam 1 !

Onam Ashamsakal ! MEPZ Special Economic Zone celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm at its Tambaram office on September 1 8, 2024. Onam, a vibrant festival is a time for feasting, celebration, and cultural bonding. The event was graced by Thiru Alex Paul Menon, IAS, who delivered an inspiring address on the significance of Onam.

The festivities kicked off with a  Pookolam competition (flower rangoli), where participants showcased their artistic talents through intricate designs and colorful arrangements. The excitement continued with a thrilling Tug of War (Vadam Vali) competition. Prizes were awarded to the winners of both events.

No Onam celebration is complete without a traditional Sadhya feast. The day concluded with a sumptuous Onam Sadhya, delighting everyone with its authentic flavors and aromatic dishes.
